James is committed to empowering and growing safe and self-sustaining communities. They are fat, queer, and genderqueer which informs the way they navigate the world. James holds a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies and Philosophy and is completing their MA in English at the University of Alberta. They have a love of community that has led to over 15 years of experience in ARAO work as a facilitator, coach, support, and educator. James believes that everyone deserves to be treated equitably and with respect.
Mackenzie has a love of people and believes that inclusive communities are built through education and knowledge. The skills she acquired in her BCom in Business Economics and Law from the University of Alberta are used to help IPC better understand small businesses and organizations. In particular, Mackenzie’s skill set in Strategic Management and Organization enables IPC to understand the nuances of business relationships within and outside the business.
